Young Rosa

Unfortunately Rosa was diagnosed with Pigmentary Uveitis at 8 1/2 years of age.  The Golden Retriever Club of America has valuable information about this condition.  If you are a Golden owner take the time to read up about it.  PU is like glaucoma in humans.  The pressure builds in the eye and it can be a very painful condition if not treated.  Some symptoms can be redness of the whites of the eyes, squinting of the eyes, bulging eye and lose of vision.   
Rosa  lost the vision in one eye and had poor vision in the other.  She was treated since it was diagnosed at 8 1/2.

Rainbow Tail

13 year old Rosa got her tail turned into a rainbow!  Stacie was practicing putting color on dogs.  Interestingly it seemed to get darker for a few weeks before starting to fade.  Rosa had no clue what was going on.

What happened to my tail?

Reminds me of sherbet or cotton candy!
